Free printable for Train loving Toddlers & Preschoolers

Many toddlers and preschoolers have a great fascination for trains - I wonder why that is?

Passenger trains, steam trains, freight trains, underground trains... going over train tracks, into and through tunnels, watching the doors open and close - we certainly have passed many happy hours by just observing trains!

Our daily learning videos on YouTube

Every day we release a new learning video made especially for toddlers & preschoolers. Learn a new letter/phonics, number, colour, shape and fruit or vegetable each day!

Visit our YouTube channel by searching 🔎 for "Boey Bear" on YouTube or click here.

So here's a free printable for all the train loving toddlers and 3 & 4 year olds out there to accompany our number train videos.

A free printable featuring a train station, train engine and carriages to colour and cut out.

Fill in the carriages with letters or numbers - there are a whole host of learning opportunities and activities that you can derive from this. Give it a go!

Here are just two of our ideas:

Number Train!

Fill in the carriages with numbers and get your child to join the carriages in the correct order! For younger children this can be numbers 1 to 10 and for older children they can be challenged to order 1 to 20.

The second page of the free printable consists of just train carriages, so you can make the train as long as you want!

Name Train!

Great for toddlers learning to recognise their name and for preschoolers to start to remember the letters and it's order, to make their name!
